Frequently asked questions

Is it better by the hour or as a return trip?

By the hour, almost always. The point of the place is stopping at several spots, and a single return trip to one lagoon leaves the rest out. Four or five hours covers the upper and lower lagoons properly.

Do you go in winter too?

Yes, and that is when the waterfalls look best. In summer the road and the car parks fill up by midday, so leaving early changes the day completely.
