Companies in Cuenca, Tarancón and La Manchuela: the corporate account for visitors arriving at Fernando Zóbel, estate and harvest staff and business trips, with one invoice a month
The corporate account is a way of paying and invoicing, with no fee and no minimum: authorised people book by phone, email, WhatsApp or API, every trip has its price fixed in advance, the traveller neither pays nor keeps receipts, and at month end one invoice arrives with VAT itemised and one line per job with date, route, passenger and cost centre. In Cuenca it solves a problem other provinces do not have: the visitor arrives by high-speed train at Fernando Zóbel, a station in open country seven kilometres from the city with no rail link, and from there has to reach an industrial estate in the capital, Tarancón or a winery in La Manchuela. From Fernando Zóbel to Tarancón is 86 km and about 62 min; to Motilla del Palancar, 69 km.

How does a visitor reach a company in Cuenca?
Almost always by high-speed train, from Madrid in under an hour or from Valencia in a little less, to Cuenca-Fernando Zóbel station. The station is in open country, seven kilometres from the old town, with no rail link and a city bus that does not meet every train, and from there there is no public way to reach an industrial estate in the capital in time for a meeting, nor Tarancón, nor a winery in La Manchuela or the Záncara. The job is booked with the train number and the factory or winery as destination, the app follows delays and the driver waits at the station door with the visitor's name. Anyone arriving by air does so via Barajas if coming to Tarancón and the Mancha Alta, or via Manises if coming to La Manchuela, and the job is booked the same way with the flight number.
The figures are the engine's, the same as for an individual: Tarancón to Fernando Zóbel, 86 km from 116,55 €; Motilla del Palancar to Fernando Zóbel, 69 km and about 68 min; Las Pedroñeras to Fernando Zóbel, 111 km; Tarancón to Barajas, 93 km from 130,49 €; Cuenca to Manises, 193 km and about 148 min. No surge or time-of-day surcharge: the price agreed at booking is the one on the invoice.
What do Cuenca companies ask for besides receiving visitors?
Staff and campaigns, in a province where the bus reaches neither the industrial estates nor the shift hours. Tarancón, an hour from Madrid along the A-3, has estates with agri-food and logistics firms that change shifts before dawn; the Manchuela of Motilla and Quintanar, wineries and canneries; Las Pedroñeras, the garlic capital, a summer campaign with crews that must be taken on time to plots with no postal address; and the capital, the regional government and the University. It is booked as a single service with several stops — the company gives the clock-in time and the addresses and the platform works out the run with staggered pickups and one price for the whole thing — and during a campaign it is left fixed for as many weeks as it lasts, at the same time every day, and cancelled at no cost at the end.
And business trips: the manager to Fernando Zóbel with a margin for the train, or to Barajas or Manises to fly, with the return booked to the flight and arrival tracking. During Holy Week and San Mateo the capital's old town is closed to traffic and the hotels fill up: transfers from the station are booked in advance, the pickup point is whatever the town hall's traffic plan allows and the price does not rise because it is a festival.
How is the account opened, and who may book?
From the companies page with the tax details and the authorised people; there is no lock-in and no fee. The usual setup is to authorise two or three people — reception, management, assistants — and have the rest go through them, although it can be opened to the whole team with a cap per job. Each booking is confirmed in writing with the route, time, passenger and price, and is tied to the cost centre named by whoever books. Repeating visits and shift runs are left fixed with the same driver, who already knows the address and which gate to use; if the company would rather have its own system do it, there is an API.
What does the invoice include, and what if the train is late?
One grouped invoice a month, with VAT itemised at the reduced passenger-transport rate and one line per job with date, route, passenger, cost centre and amount, reconciling with the written confirmations of each booking. Each trip is performed by a partner under their valid VTC authorisation or taxi licence, with a trip sheet issued before it starts, in case compliance asks. If the visitor's high-speed train is late, the job carries the number and the app follows it: the pickup moves by itself and the published courtesy wait runs from the actual arrival. If a meeting runs long, the driver is told by message and a wait or a new time is agreed, recorded in the job and on the invoice at its price. There is no fee, minimum or lock-in; with high volume a rate can be discussed.
What other companies in the province use the account?
The hotels of Cuenca's old town, to take guests to Fernando Zóbel with the charge on the room; the wineries of La Manchuela and the Mancha conquense that receive wine-tourism groups from the station; clinics and insurers, for unaccompanied transfers to appointments at the Virgen de la Luz hospital or in Madrid with the invoice to the insurer; schools and camps, for outings with several cars to the Ciudad Encantada or the Serranía; and wedding and event organisers at the Alcarria and Serranía estates. Each has its own page with what changes in its case; the account is the same for all.
