We wait for you in the arrivals hall, with your name on a sign

On a transfer from the airport the driver does not wait in the car: they come into the terminal, stand at the exit of baggage reclaim holding a sign with your name and walk you to the car park. It is included in the airport supplement and ticked by default when you book; if you would rather go straight to the car, untick it and we tell you where it is.

Where we meet at Barajas

A licensed private hire car cannot stop in the terminal lane: the car is in the assigned car park and the driver walks you there. That is why there are two places per terminal: where we meet and where the car is.

These are the same texts the driver sees on the job. They are given in Spanish as they are the names of places.

At the other airports we occasionally serve (El Prat, Manises, Málaga, Alicante, Sevilla, Bilbao, Zaragoza) the meeting point is the same: the arrivals hall, at the exit of baggage reclaim. The car pickup point is not detailed terminal by terminal and is confirmed with the landing notice or by phone.

How it goes

  1. Before you land. With your flight number we check the arrival before setting off and adjust the pickup at no cost. Before pickup you know your driver's name, phone number and the car's plate.
  2. When you come out with your luggage. The driver is at the exit of baggage reclaim in your terminal holding the sign. The name is the one you entered when booking: if someone else is travelling, enter theirs.
  3. To the car. They walk you to the car park and help with the luggage. At T4 it is one floor up and across a walkway; at T1, the P1 car park.
  4. How long we wait. 45 minutes included, counted from when the driver reaches the pickup point, not from when the plane lands: between touchdown and coming out with your luggage there is a good half hour that is nobody's fault. Beyond that margin waiting is charged at the tariff rate, and you are told first.

If you cannot find each other

  • Your booking's tracking page shows the driver's phone number while they are on their way and the car's plate. Check that first.
  • If you cannot reach them, call the direct number: a person here answers, not a call centre.
  • Stay in the arrivals hall at the baggage reclaim exit: that is where the driver comes back to look for you. Going outside or changing floors is how most time gets lost.
  • If the flight is cancelled, the service is not cancelled automatically: it often ends up as another flight or a train three hours later. We talk on the phone and decide with you.

What we do not do

Shall we pick you up at Barajas?

Enter the airport as your pickup, your flight number and the name you want on the sign. The price is fixed and you see it before giving your details.
